Blog about what?

If you can imagine it. You can blog about it–and people do!

You can blog about your…dog, cat, childhood, kids, husband, wife, golf clubs, garden, business, hobby, etc., etc., etc.,

So our first blog tip is,.. before you even think about blogging, write a description of your blog! This can be a mission statement of some-sort that will help guide you when you are creating content. Don’t worry, it doesn’t need to be set in stone. You can change it, amend it, or even define it further as you get more experience blogging. This simple written guide will help you focus your efforts and guide your post topics. We all love eclecticism, but if you want to retain readership, you need to consider focusing your efforts in an area that is topical, relevant, and consistent.

So resist the urge to buy a domain, hosting etc., (talk to us first!!) and write a short paragraph as if you were describing your blog, to a new visitor. I think you’ll find this tip rewarding!
